The “Rubes I” entitled, “Country & Western, Whadya Expect” is a 2003 incarnation of the “Rubes” Original CD from 1996-97. It is a compilation of traditional country tunes with the classic Rubes treatment and flare for the classics directly from the great C&W song book and the performances spanned a twelve week engagement of nightly performances from the Ponderosa Lounge at the famed “Jubitz” Truck Stop in Portland Oregon, which was voted #1 Truck Stop in the nation by the Travel Channel. The Rubes were “LIVE” at Jubitz in 2003. They hope all country music fans enjoy the two CD set.
