Traci Lynn, at only 19 years of age, was a winner of the “True Value Country Showdown” in 2000 and later, became Lead Vocalist and Special Feature for the Original Rubes. The Rubes had become a host band for the “True Value Country Showdowns” and “Colgate Country Showdowns” as a live production backup band, at the local level, in Oregon’s Willamette valley, as well as the Oregon State Wide level and, The Regionals, “Contest In The West”, which included contestants that were either groups or singer/songwriters from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah and California. In subsequent years working for the company responsible for the entire Country Showdown circuit nationwide, SPI Productions out of Nashville Tennessee, it became a six year endeavor for Traci Lynn and the Rubes. GSP Audio is proud to share this wonderfully fresh singer songwriter’s work from a time which launched a New Millennium in the Pop Country arena.
